This 65 episodes long cartoon series by Sunbow Productions ran from 1985-88, and was based on Hasbro's doll line. The series is about Jerrica Benton who, by the help of the holographic computer Synergy, and her remote micro projector earrings, can tranform into the truly outrageous singer Jem, of the band the Holograms, to battle their rival Eric and the girlband he is promoting, the Misfits.
